"Graffiti is total freedom" - Yvon, Graffiti artist
With our recent poster campaign, Primus is keen to keep the Free Spirits message alive. We are once again looking for someone who embodies what we stand for as a lager brand. This needs to go beyond the everyday; it needs to be someone with a real story, who is unafraid to carve out an individual path in life. Yvon Tordoir, a RizeOne member of the Aerosol Kings, is just such a person. He has already worked his magic on a variety of walls, doing what he does best: graffiti. You’ll find his work here.
He was a perfect fit at Primus for obvious reasons: he does what he wants to do, refuses to compromise on fundamental points and is proud to simply be himself without too much fuss. For him, graffiti is total freedom. Nevertheless, in opting for graffiti he was not making an easy choice – few people manage to make a living from it. Yvon’s work can be admired in places such as Antwerp City Drops and on the De Groenen Hoek swimming pool in Berchem (where he has also created stunning 3D graffiti of a whale). For Primus, he took on boring sneakers during festivals, designed a set of limited-edition T-shirts, and pimped up an old van so that it looked the part at Journey of Sound.
