“Bringing old stuff back to life is just what I do.”

“Bringing old stuff back to life is just what I do.”
"These days, everything is hidden behind white plastic. I have to be able to see the cogs turning."
No dream is too big, too unattainable or unfeasible for this patented and stubborn-willed man from Tildonk.
Together with his wife and three children, Christian lives in a house he built himself, surrounded by a garden bursting with projects, the kind that would have been given up on in the average Belgian home long ago. Christian finds a purpose for anything and everywhere; from neighbourhood feasts and lots of friends gathered around the hand-built outdoor oven made from recycled materials to tools from years gone by. Why does he prefer the old to the new? “I have to be able to see the cogs turning.”
